"From a Sevillian power-pop band to eighteen records of fearless independence — the long, extraordinary journey of Edu Campoy Molinero"

Indie Dock Music Blog (UK)

"V.E.N! is one of the more genuinely sustained artistic projects currently operating in independent music anywhere in Europe. Sixteen years of work without compromise, without a breakthrough that would have tempted lesser artists into the comfortable repetition of a formula — that takes a particular kind of stubbornness, a particular quality of belief."

"Edu Campoy arrives from Seville with a pocketful of the past and a politics for the present"

Indie Dock Music Blog (UK)— April 8, 2026

"The arrival of anything genuinely melodic and alive feels almost transgressive. V.E.N! does not sound like anyone being quoted. It sounds like itself, which is the rarer achievement by far."

"Séville sous tension douce : V.E.N! sculpte The Beauty of Danger comme un vertige pop-rock entre extase et chute"

Extravafrench — 11 avril 2026

The Beauty of Danger by V.E.N!: EP Review

Illustrate Magazine (US)— April 8, 2026

"Power-pop pep collides with prog-minded sweep. Think 60s pop hooks dressed in post-punk jackets, Britpop bravado softened by spiritual, intimate lyrics, and a strong visual streak of handmade collages that frame each song like a tiny manifesto. Catchy enough to sing in the shower, deep enough to study in the dark."
